WE ARE

Calma Divers
Calma Divers was born as a result of more than eleven years of experiencing diving as a true lifestyle.
My name is Victoria Mori, I am a Biologist, Diving Instructor, and creator of this project.
Underwater, I learned to slow down, listen to my slow, deep breathing, and reconnect with the magic of being alive.
Calma is an invitation to live the same experience. To disconnect from the noise and stimuli of everyday life and return to the essentials: breathing, contemplating, and simply being present in nature. The ocean awakens our curiosity and desire to explore. Each dive is a different adventure: diving with bull sharks, snorkeling with a whale shark, floating with an eagle ray, swimming surrounded by schools of colorful fish and turtles, exploring vibrant reefs... it gives us the opportunity to discover a world that always surprises us.
Diving is calm, but it is also discovery and excitement.
In every experience, we carry with us an awareness of ocean conservation, respect for marine life, and empathy for those who choose us.
Calma Divers is a safe space where learning to dive is a pressure-free process: every question and every fear has a place.
Our goal is for everyone, whether they are taking their first breaths underwater or embarking on new adventures beneath the sea, to combine enjoyment, connection, and learning about marine life.
Because, ultimately, diving is not just a sport: it is a way to reconnect with yourself and, at the same time, discover the immensity of the underwater world.

DIVING IS THE DRIVING FORCE IN MY LIFE
I was born in Buenos Aires, but from a very young age I felt a deep love for the sea. When I was 4 years old, my dad took me to Puerto Madryn to see the whales, and there I also met a marine biologist. That encounter marked me forever: I knew I wanted to be close to the ocean.
At 18, I moved to Patagonia, Argentina, to study biology. I fell in love with the wind, life by the sea, and sleeping to the sound of whales breathing. At the same time, I watched divers enter the water every day, and my curiosity grew so much that I decided to take my Open Water course. It was love at first sight.
On the first day, I thought, “I need more of this.” Despite the cold and poor visibility, I felt more alive than ever. Diving quickly became my daily routine: in the mornings I would dive with sea lions and in the afternoons I would study.
After finishing college and the pandemic, I made a decision: to seek a new adventure in Mexico. I spent a year in Oaxaca, devoted to life in nature, and then I arrived in Cozumel. Without thinking twice, I fell in love with the Caribbean.
In Cozumel, I discovered a whole new world: the coral reef. A vibrant environment full of stingrays, sharks, turtles, and thousands of other species. I discovered not only its beauty, but also how fragile it is and how important it is to treat it with respect.
The island quickly gave me everything. In Cozumel, I began a new chapter where diving became the driving force in my life. A channel to connect with people through laughter, presence, calm, and away from cell phones.
